MyConnect – Specialty Crops

Bio-Fertilizer, Mycorrhiza

MyConnect® – Specialty Crops is a powerful bio-fertilizer for vegetable crops that consists of highly concentrated, carefully selected and pure-produced mycorrhiza. It efficiently connects to the plant-roots system and forms an extensive underground network of interconnecting filaments, increasing nutrient absorption, marketable yields, stress resistance (drought) and overall crop nutritional quality and flavour.

Contains 4,000 viable spores/g of the endomycorrhizal species Rhizoglomus sp.

Seed treatment: Homogeneously mix the amount of product necessary to evenly coat the number of seeds required for one hectare (2.5 acres) of cultivation area. Generally, 2 to 3 cups of products are needed. *In-furrow application at planting: Dilute the content of the bag in the volume of water required for 1 ha (2.5 acres) of seed pieces (40-95 L). Agitate well during the dilution and just prior to application. Apply directly on seed pieces in-furrow.
Cuttings and bulb treatment: Homogeneously mix the amount of product necessary to evenly coat the number of cuttings/bulbs required for one hectare (2.5 acres) of cultivation area. Generally, 2 to 3 cups of products are needed.
Incorporation in transplant water: Dilute 250 ml (1 cup) of product in 50 L (13 US gallons) of room temperature water, while mixing. Remove filters and use nozzles with a minimum of 2 mm (10 mesh) openings to avoid clogging. Apply 5 ml (1 tsp) of diluted product per plant, directly to the root system or on the side/bottom of the planting hole. Agitate the diluted product frequently while spraying. One cup of product is enough to treat up to 10,000 plants. Seed piece treatment: Evenly mix the powder content of the bag to coat the amount of seed pieces required for 1 ha of seedbed prior to planting.
Direct application on roots: Gradually 240 ml (1 cup) of product in 25 L (6.6 US gallons) of room temperature water, while mixing. Dip the roots completely into the liquid and make sure they are covered with slurry prior to planting. One cup of raw product is enough to treat approximately 2,500 plants. *Alternatively, the bare roots could be dipped directly into the product powder prior to planting.
  • The coating can increase the total volume in the seed drill. Recalibrate it to get the right seeding rate.
  • Do not mix powder with fungicide in the same tank.
  • Do not directly mix with granular or liquid fertilizer.
  • For optimal result, sow within 12 hours following treatment.

Application options

Mixing with seeds – Apply MyConnecton seeds at a ratio of 30% w/w, just prior to planting time. Mix the MyConnectpowder evenly with seeds when filling seeder. A grain auger or a dry seed treater can be used to easily blend MyConnectwith seeds or mix it directly in the hopper (or any other suitable container). It is recommended to adjust the calibration of the device to optimize the drill box filling rate.

Cuttings or bulbs treatment – Use 750 mL (3 cups) of MyConnectper hectare (2.5 acres) of sowing area. Gradually mix the required amount of product with the number of cuttings or bulbs necessary to cover the desired sowing area. Ensure a homogeneous distribution of the MyConnectpowder. A dry seed treater can be used to easily apply the product or mix in any other suitable container.

Incorporation in transplant water – Gradually dilute MyConnectat a rate of 250 ml (1 cup) per 50 L (1.4 lb per 13US gallons) of room temperature tap water, while mixing. Remove filters and use nozzles with a minimum of 1 mm (18 US mesh) openings to avoid clogging. Apply 5 ml (1 tsp) of diluted MyConnectper plant, directly to the root system or on the side/bottom of the planting hole. Agitate frequently the product in suspension while spraying.

Direct application on transplant bare-roots or root plugs – Coat the root plugs or bare roots with MyConnectpowder, just prior to planting. A quick dip of the roots or a small amount of powder will be sufficient to efficiently inoculate the plants.

  • Do not directly mix MyConnectwith fungicide in the same container (See pesticides compatibility chart).
  • It is generally recommended to apply compatible pesticides at least 2 weeks prior or 4 weeks after application of MyConnect™.
  • Do not directly mix MyConnectwith concentrated granular or liquid fertilizer in the same container.
  • It is recommended to lower the dose of start-up phosphate fertilizer until 4 weeks after MyConnect
  • It is recommended to sow within 12 hours following treatment.
  • For optimal results, use before the expiration date.
  • Store in a cool and dry place.
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
  • Do not freeze or expose to temperatures above 35°C (95°F) for an extended period of time.
  • Seal the bag tightly after use.
  • Please read the product MSDS prior to use.
